I've tried starting a blog several times but never quite developed the habit.

The secret is writing about something that makes you genuinely excited.

I've been using Mythic GM Emulator 2e to run a sandbox adventure heavily driven by dice and improvisation.

I find this a great way to stretch my legs as a writer and have fun exploring a world with full autonomy.

I'll be tracking my adventures with this blog. The Delver Collective will be so much more than a Solo RPG blog, but that future has yet to pass.

For now, I take you to the world of Urn.

Urn is a world covered in ocean. Her many people inhabit one of the hundreds of islands dotted across the planet's surface.

Long ago, the Lords of Chaos imprisoned the patron saint of the healing church in a dream-like trance. Generations have kept the sleeping icon alive through ritual and constant attendance.

With their patron saint asleep, healing rituals and holy miracles cease to function. Resurrection magic is only a legend in Urn.

The healing church remains a shattered visage of what it once was. Now, it is only a cult scattered about the islands of Urn. Its followers are few and far between.

The player character, Clavicus, is one such priest.

Clavicus quests for the Golden Horn, a legendary relic prophesied to stir the saint from sleep.

He is a 1st-Level Cleric from the Old School Essentials: Classic Fantasy Rules Tome.

Thus far, I've played four solo sessions with Clavicus.

Our first adventure took place on the island of Amarr, where Clavicus met with a local trader called Ujuk to hear tell of the Golden Horn. Before Ujuk would meet with Clavicus, he required a Test of Good Faith be performed...

But that's a story for another day. For now, I merely wish to introduce myself as the chronicler. I will be documenting the tales of Urn and will do my utmost to be vigilant with a schedule.

I'm on a personal quest to be a writer and my current focus is the world of RPGs.

Greetings and well met travelers!
